Fund EPA Testing

Naturally Potions is the producer of multiple skin care products. The company was formed in 2013 by Nicole Howard as an LLC and sells products in specialty boutiques. The flagship product is Sophia’s Bug Potion which was developed as a mosquito repellent using all-natural ingredients that are safe for children, adults, animals, and the environment. The product cannot be sold until we receive our EPA 25b approval for sales to the public.

Nicole Howard's career started in her Mother's salon & day spa at the age of 12. She has had a 35-year career in the spa & beauty industry as a professional Nail Technician & full-body therapist performing services such as pedicure, manicures, massage, geothermal therapy, body scrubs/wraps. She began getting requests for the lotion and oil blends she mixed for each service. Through those requests, she discovered a need for natural alternatives to skincare products and started creating her own nontoxic skincare and wellness product line.

In 2013 Nicole created Sophia's Bug Potion Fight The Bite!!! after a 2 year stay in the Caribbean. The mosquitos were relentless with her 8yr old daughter. They were coating herself and her daughter in bug repellents round the clock. According to the CDC long-term use of these products cause cancer. The only choice they had was what skin repellents were available or getting dengue. Living on a tourist tropical island made any natural repellents hard to find. Nicole figured she could make a repellent that is safer, nongreasy, smells fabulous, and has less of a negative impact on the environment.

The company seeks to expand production and thereby availability of the product in more locations in North and Central America. Sophia’s Bug Potion differentiates itself from other similar products by being non-allergenic and by its ability to reduce skin irritation from prior bug bites, sunburn, or scrapes. Its nongreasy, pleasant scent & effectiveness allow it to be used where many repellants would be contraindicated.

Our vision is a world where families can enjoy the great outdoors without fear of insect bites or caustic chemical reactions to adults, children or pets from currently available insect repellants.

Seeking funding for EPA testing. There are three separate tests. Each test has a cost of $3000 and up. The 1st test is to test against repelling mosquitos. The 2nd test is to test against repelling ticks. This project can't go froward without testing.

After we obtain our EPA 25b certification we want to blanket Idaho retail locations such as grocery stores, online store, Spas and Salons, RV parks etc. The goal is to have SBP more accessible to the consumer at an affordable cost. We want to move it nationally and eventually export through a hotel/resort/cruise line, where the consumer would get the product in hand BEFORE they go outdoors on their vacations.
