Hello! My name is Ella, I’m a rescue Lab-Pitt mix from South West Texas and I’m almost 10 years old now! I’m a very busy girl with a lot of exploring to do, but lately, my job as an adventure buddy has gotten a little tough.
Both my moms love me so much and take me on the best adventures every day—whether it’s a hike up a mountain trail or just a walk to the dog park for some serious sniffing! I love being their co-pilot in our RV, but my vision is starting to worry them.
I’ve got a growth on my right eye that makes me squint and sometimes I bump into things. It's uncomfortable and making it hard to keep a watch on squirrels and other important things. My moms took me into the vet, and even with insurance, the surgery is so far out of reach.
My vets say the surgery needs to happen soon to save my vision and make sure the growth isn't serious, but the total cost is $8000 My moms are working hard, but saving up the full amount while managing our RV living expenses is just too much right now. They feel really terrible that they can't fix this for me on their own.
My moms tell me that even a few dollars helps get me back on the road to seeing clearly and being their happy, adventurous dog again! If you can’t donate, could you please share my story with your friends? Thank you so much for reading about my big adventure, and please give your own pets a hug from me!
