Hello friends and family! This fall, I have the incredible opportunity to study abroad in Barcelona as part of my degree program in Architecture and Design. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime chance to immerse myself in a new culture, grow academically, and experience the world in a way that will shape my future in my "not-so-early" youth. Studying Barcelona’s rich architectural history firsthand will deeply inform my design work and future career. I have always dreamed of studying abroad, and I have decided to jump on this opportunity to make the most of my college career, and I am very, very excited!

While my tuition and program fees are generally covered by my university, I am currently in need of help covering basic living expenses while abroad. Things such as groceries, transportation, and day-to-day essentials. As I am shifting to a more independent living style this year, it is becoming increasingly more difficult to set aside enough for these costs on my own.

I've carefully budgeted what I'll need, and for four months of living completely on my own in a new country, the amount comes out to around $4,000 total. Even reaching part of that would make such a huge difference for me.
