Fund Dr. Sella's Impactful Book Journey

Hello, I am Dr. Shelley Sella, the first woman to openly provide third trimester abortion care in the United States. For those who don't know me yet, I mentored and worked with Dr. George Tiller for many years. Following his assassination, my colleague and I set up a third trimester abortion practice at a clinic in Albuquerque NM, until my retirement. Now I have written my first book called BEYOND LIMITS: Stories of Third-Trimester Abortion Care (released June 3, 2025; avail for pre-order!).

BEYOND LIMITS is not just a testament to a standard of care grounded in competence, compassion, and sensitivity. It is also a call for a paradigm shift that moves beyond Dobbs, beyond Roe, beyond limits to provide care. And it is a tribute to the real people whose hearts, reasons, and stories are more complex than politicized conversations about abortion lead us to believe.

We can maximize Beyond Limit's impact through a book tour, offering opportunities to host connections and conversations with local advocates, abortion clinics, abortion funds and community groups. But we need financial backing to make this vision possible.
