Fund "Don't You Hate Us": A War Drama Film by SCAD Students

Hi! We are the team of filmmakers working on Don't You Hate Us! We are a group of students at Savannah College of Art and Design, led by director Tyler Simmons, and supported by producers Ted Ricker of Kronos Media Productions, as well as Kaonna Hyacinthe.

Don't You Hate Us is a war drama about a young boy and his teenage brother who are forced to survive in a deserted wasteland after their hometown is occupied by an invasive military force. The film aims to raise awareness of atrocities being committed on a daily basis in wars across the world and create emotion in viewers to inspire activism and fight for change.

Filming begins on May 16, and will take place regardless of the funding target being met. However, we hope to raise as much as possible to create an effective and emotional story that can convince the audience of our message. Funds will go towards creating costumes, props, set design, licensing locations, and providing for crew, including food and travel.
