Greetings Relatives,

We’re raising funds for a beloved community member and one of our dearest friends in the Twin Cities, who wishes to remain anonymous. They currently face uncertainty and are vulnerable to deportation as a DACA recipient, who has previously faced a motion of removal proceedings. The current moment intensifies the need to organize a defense strategy for them. As of November 19, 2025 DHS has arrested 261 DACA recipients and deported 86 individuals. No one, regardless of immigration status, deserves to be separated from their families, their homes and their communities.

This campaign is fundraising $3,000 by March 27th to secure legal representation and other related costs (i.e. court proceedings). In securing legal representation, they are building a community defense strategy that honors their dignity, respect and autonomy in the face of a highly volatile situation.
