Firstly, we believe in, follow and are obedient to God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. We know our God is a provider and we have been putting a lot of prayer into this situation and the wisdom we need to make the best decision for both Eric and Luke.

We feel richly blessed as we have a roof over our head, fresh water to drink, food in our fridge and warm beds to sleep in.

We are a generous and loving family that is always willing to help out when we can.

This is not a cosmetic desire but a health need/necessity

Both Eric and Luke have restricted airways due to structural abnormalities of their jaws.

This causes them not to get the necessary oxygen they need to the brain which leaves them always feeling tired (even though they get 8+hrs of sleep each night) they also struggle immensely with lethargy and little motivation to get the best out of their lives.

We have known for a while that Luke's jaw and teeth needed the intervention and when we had the consultation it became obvious that Eric's health was being greatly impacted by the same issue and intervention would be necessary for improved health.

It's going to cost $30,000 ($15,000 each) to fix this problem.

Both need braces for 12+ months then jaw realignment surgery then braces again to set the jaw and teeth in place.

This will take approximately 3 years in total.

Health insurance will keep this cost down to $30,000 as opposed to $140,000 through the public system.

Unfortunately, we don't have these finances as we are a single income family due to Mim's multiple sclerosis challenges and the limitations that imposes.

We are a simple family living as close to Jesus as we can.
