Dear God, Why? follows Rose, a high school senior who struggles to accept her sexuality amidst the threat of being outed.

My name is Mikayla Pedano, the writer and director of this project! It is a dramatized retelling of my story, and since I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by love and acceptance through my journey, I wanted to share it. Coming out is terrifying, especially when you've been grown up around any negativity or prejudice surrounding it. But, like Rose learns, there is no wrong way to love, and it is no sin.
