Put on your favorite love song and listen deeply. Notice what images come to mind when you hear the opening chords. Your partner's hands? Your wedding day? The look on your lover's face when you saw them for the last time?

Now try something else. Imagine that the singer of that love song is your soul. Imagine your soul singing that love song to your body. Turn the music up loud and dance.

I'm beyond excited to be producing Dear Body, Love Me, an evening of dances about the love affair between soul and body, featuring choreography by Bella Halek, Lydia McDonald, Steph Mizrahi, Elsie Neilson, Ariel Scott, and myself. We're performing September 12 & 13, 2025 at Stomping Ground Los Angeles. This show seeks to explore the idea that the greatest love affair of your life is not between you and another person, but between your soul and your body. My hope is that you leave the show feeling greater curiosity, gratitude, and tenderness towards the precious vessel that carries you through this life.
