Fund David's Journey to International Stunt School
Donation protected
Hello, thank you for taking the time to reading this. My name is David and I have been accepted to attended International Stunt School in Seattle, WA for three full weeks this summer. The cost of the tuition is $6,000. I have already paid $2,000. There is also an additional cost of room and board. I am hoping you will donate to this GoFundMe and be a part of my journey.
I am turning 19 in February and am a straight A senior in High School. I have been home-schooled my entire life except for sixth grade when my family lived in Prague CZ and I attended a private school. My hobbies include building original Lego creations, playing piano, and doing gymnastics.
I have been doing gymnastics for 13 years. I started when I was 7 years old. The first day I walked into the gym, it was a cold, brisk morning as I went through those doors. I was a little shy for my first day of gymnastics class but also very curious about learning new tricks. My mom watched me intently from the bleachers as I did my rolls and handstands. After that first class, I was very eager to return for more fun. Now 13 years later, I am a level 8 gymnast who enjoys competing at the regional level.
When I was 4 years old, my adopted dad would sometimes throw me up into the air by his arms, and he would let me fall where he would catch me amid laughs and giggles, and he would repeat that process again and again. That was the first time I felt that rush of excitement. After I started doing gymnastics, I loved the feeling of flipping and falling, but it still wasn’t enough. When I was about 10 years old, I was watching an action movie, and I saw the actor do a stunt, and I thought to myself, I want to do that one day. When I turned about 13, I found out that the name of the job I wanted to do is called being a stunt double. After that, I started researching stunt doubles. When I turned 18, I went skydiving for the first time. After doing it, it made me realize I also wanted to get my skydiving license. Stunt doubles who have both their skydiving license and their stunt driving license have more career opportunities in the stunt industry.
I would like you to be a part of my journey so that when I become a stunt double, I can proclaim that with your help, I was able to kickstart my journey, and you can tell the world that you knew me personally.
I need your help. As of right now, I have save up 2,000 dollars for this school. The total cost of tuition is $6,000 which means I need to collect another $4,000 before it starts in July. Please donate what you can. I am grateful for all donations! All donations will go directly towards my three week summer intensive experience.
