I am David. I am a 17 y/o honor roll senior at Lyons Township High School in Illinois. I love all sports but my passion has always been roller skating. I started skating competitively in artistic and speed, about 10 years ago. When I became serious about competing 5 years ago, I let go of speed and focused on artistic. That was when I decided I wanted to not only win US National championships, but I want to compete at World Skate Games. I qualified for Worlds in September this year! I am so excited at this opportunity. I am a minor, so my mom, Tiffany Taylor, is helping me fundraise to help cover plane tickets to and from Italy, food and lodging, equipment, uniforms, and coaches/competition fees. The money does go to her and she is distributing it to each as is needed.
