Help Danny Get Top Surgery!

hi! my name is danny, i am an emo musician and a drag queen here in charleston south carolina, and i've been out as a trans man since october of 2018. i was able to pursue testosterone in 2019, but had to stop due to losing access to my insurance provider and other personal complications with my transition. i have gone through a difficult journey with my gender, going through hyper-feminine phases where i did my best to shove down those feelings because i was so scared of what living my truth would mean for me. it means opening myself up to a lot of criticism from people that i don't know and will never care to know-- but that criticism will never mean more than my own personal comfort and happiness.

i've done research into surgeons who perform top surgery in the area, and through my friend Louis (who has also received this surgery) i became aware of Dr. Widenhouse. his results align with what i'm looking for, he's in town, and he's trans-friendly! i'm looking to raise $7,000 to cover the cost of my top surgery and recovery through Dr. Widenhouse here in charleston.

getting this surgery represents freedom to me. my whole life i've felt like i'm playing the part of what the people around me think i am. cosplaying a human being, filling the roles people want me to fill. i want to know what it would feel like to truly just be me for a change. to truly feel like i am in the body i want. to ease that connection between my mind and what i see in the mirror. with a goal set and a game plan in motion, it feels closer than ever now. all i need is your help.
