On April 30, 2024, Dan Lopez was involved in a head-on collision -motorcycle accident, in Angeles City, Philippines. It was stated by police on dash cam evidence, it was not Dan's fault.

Dan spent 2 days in ER, 4 days unconscious and 10 days in ICU. Dan has been recovering in a private room at the same Hospital in Angeles City, Philippines. Dan had multiple injuries which included a severe concussion, lacerations above left eye, fracture in left collar bone, fractured cervical,

3 fractured ribs, a collapsed left lung, severe lacerations to left forearm and left hand. Severe lacerations to the right hand. Lacerations to left knee, a fractured left ankle and sever lacerations to the left foot.

On 21 May, Dan underwent 2 surgeries to address the fractures in his left shoulder and left ankle. Steel pins were placed in both locations.

Today, 28 May - 26 days after the accident, Dan was released to go home, after a concered individule payed the outstanding bill. He will not be able to walk for about 2 months while the foot / ankle is healing.

Dan is a husband, father, provider of two adelecent children and a Disabled US Veteran of the United States Navy.

Dan lives with his wife and children in Angeles City Philippines.

What little US medical coverage Dan has, does not apply here in the Philippines.
