Help Send Daniel Overseas for Study Abroad

Howdy!

My name is Daniel Doria! I'm a student at Texas A&M University - College Station, studying Visualization for the past two years. The time has come in my college career where I am afforded the opportunity to study abroad in Florence, Italy for a semester, and I plan to do so with two of my close friends. 

This would be an amazing opportunity for me, not only academically, but as a once-in-a-lifetime trip to a country I may well never see again, as it will be my first time out of the country. This trip is also essential to my progression through my college program, as a study abroad trip is necessary for advanced classes and graduation. 

However, I am currently in dire need of funds in order to cover the cost of the trip, as neither me nor my family is in any position to afford such a steep price. 

The price of the program alone is more than $19,000, not including the price of housing and supplies needed for many of my art and photography based classes. I plan to pay what I can and have already saved a small amount, but I am still far away from what I need. This is what made me consider GoFundMe.

I truly want to avoid having to burden my family with this price as they have already supported me through college which is more than I can ever pay back. If you can spare anything to help lift this financial weight off me and my family’s shoulders, I would be immensely grateful.
