Help Support Daín's Foxtail Removal Surgery!

My name is Daín and these are foxtails

And they're not edible

But don't you think they oughta be?

They're just golden airy oaties

Of highly compressed seedlings

That hook and dig on impact

So they're not that good for eating

And now that I've blatantly stolen song lyrics from Keyes' "Me Want Bite", the full story....

Our darling dog Daín has a sensitive tummy and sometimes tires to eat grass to offset the upset. Despite our efforts to prevent this behavior, he's a sneaky lad and managed to swallow a foxtail which imbedded in his cheek, forming an abscess. The foxtail has now been successfully removed! But as you can imagine, this has significantly impacted our finances.
