Fund Crystal's Salon: A Legacy for Her Kids and community

Hi, my name is Crystal, and I’m a proud mother of two beautiful daughters, living in the Bronx, New York. I’m a loctician who currently runs my salon business right from my living room. While I’m incredibly grateful for the journey so far, I’ve outgrown the space — and it’s time to take the next step.

I’m raising funds to build a small salon suite in the backyard of my home. This move means more privacy for my clients, a more professional space to work and grow, and most importantly, the opportunity to create a legacy for my daughters. I want them to see firsthand that with faith, hard work, and support from the community, dreams are possible — even when you start with very little.

As a single mother on government assistance, I’ve faced more than my fair share of challenges. But I refuse to let that define me. I’m building something greater, not just for myself, but for my girls — something they can be proud of and maybe even carry on one day.

The urgency is real: Summer is here, and construction season is short. The sooner I can raise the funds, the sooner I can break ground, move out of the cramped living room setup, and create a space that reflects the love, talent, and care I pour into every client.
