Christian Rory Kreiger (born July 11th, 1988),went missing during a hike with a friend on the Harrison Lake Ridge trails on July 12th, 2024. His body was recovered by search-and-rescue on Sunday.

Christian loved the outdoors. He was lucky to have grown up in a family that fostered this love for him, spending his formative years in St. Maries, Idaho. A 2007 graduate of St. Maries High School, Christian was living in the Sandpoint area at the time of his passing.

Christian is survived by his mother, step-father and wife, 7 brothers and sisters, and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and other family. He is proceeded in death by many grandparents.

As you can imagine, planning an unexpected funeral/memorial comes with it's own level of stress, and every little bit helps tremendously. His step-father is taking on this responsibility, and we are hoping to be able to cover his final arrangements as well as host a memorial service.
