My name's Gary. I have a friend named Cherry who had a stroke a few months back and is in serious need of financial help. She is unable to work at this time and is currently on disability. She has gone through her savings and vacation time and needs help to keep up with rent and necessary bills. I've paid for their wireless service so the kids can keep up with school and she can keep up with doctors, but the rent is another matter. Friends help with groceries and utilities as well. I suggested a GoFundMe and they agreed, so here I am looking for some more help for her and the kids.

She really needs some serious help with the money for rent and I'm hoping there are some out there that can. I can't come up with enough to help them much more myself, and other friends have done what they can to help as well. Insurance has also lapsed and they're looking into Medicaid for help.

Recovery is ongoing and we're hoping she'll be back at work sooner than later, but I want to see what we can do to get the rent covered and keep a roof over their heads until then. Please, if you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.
