Fund Chastity's Fight for a New Heart

Meet Chastity, a 35-year-old respiratory therapist from Vale, NC.

Shes been married to Warren for 5 years and together they have a house full of fur babies.

Chastity was born without the right ventricle of her heart. She has had a total of 4 heart surgeries (the first as a baby) to help keep her heart working for as long as possible. Unfortunately, she is at a point where the left side of her heart (having received so much stress) is failing and she is now in congestive heart failure. To put things plainly, her heart is operating at the level of a 90+ year old.

Chastity has dedicated her life to caring for others as a respiratory therapist. Throughout her career, she has worked tirelessly, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, where she spent countless hours on the front lines, risking her own health to ensure her patients received the best care possible. Her unwavering commitment and compassion have touched so many lives, offering comfort and hope during some of the most challenging times.

Now she needs our help. Despite her dedication to her patients, she is facing her own health battle and is currently in the hospital awaiting a heart transplant. The medical expenses are overwhelming, and we are reaching out to our community to support this incredible woman who has given up so much of herself to others.

Any donation, big or small, will help cover her medical costs and provide her with the care she richly deserves.

Chastity is currently level 2 on the transplant list. This means she will not be returning to her home or her family until she receives a new heart. The timeline is unclear, but we are told this could be months: months of being in a hospital, months of her husband commuting back and forth to work, months away from the job she loves.
