My name is Charlie. I just recently went to see an oral surgeon for a consultation on my medically necessary jaw surgery. This surgery will increase my quality of life considerably. I have several issues including sleep apnea that are caused by the cross bite of my jaw. I am getting braces first for 12 months that will make my bite worse, so then I will need the surgery to correct it. This is not purely cosmetic. It is something I need to have done, and with the way America is right now, I can't afford this without the help of the community. The surgery is not covered by insurance, only hospital stay will be covered, but I can't afford the medical insurance to cover that either. Anything helps! Thank you so much!
