Cassie was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June of 2021. She was put into remission and then had a successful transplant in March of 2022. She fought hard for her life and returned back to work as a hairstylist that September and she’s been thriving ever since. Unfortunately in April of 2024 she discovered a spot that came back as a myeloid sarcoma, basically leukemia cells in the tissue. She has tried her hardest to continue working, but between chemotherapy, radiation, and multiple appointments a week she is having to take a step back from work to prioritize her health.
