Fund Cassandra's Journey in Inside the Kiln
Donation protected
Inside the Kiln is an intimate student film that explores the bureaucracy of exile especially when it comes to unregistered folks in the current political landscape.
The story of Cassandra Baros also dives deep into loss, identity, and the emotional cost of being constantly discouraged causing self doubt/burnout.
The story follows Cassandra, a passionate ceramics student and unregistered individual as she navigates her passion for her art, her responsibility to take care of her family oversees, the wackiness of her trusted friend and her unrivaled loyalty to her Professer within the art space she wants to excel in. She soon finds out that not everyone is rooting for her and any small mistake in trust just might lead to deadly consequences.
Through a series of emotionally honest moments, the film highlights the challenges of cultural displacement, self-worth, and the silent battles many immigrants face.
As university students, we are driven by a shared purpose: to tell stories that matter. Inside the Kiln is more than a school project, it’s a heartfelt expression of identity and resilience, brought to life with limited resources but with unlimited passion.
