Fund campaign internships for BIPOC students
Donation protected
The GAP Project was started by two young women who wanted to bridge the gap between Gen Z and politics. Since then, we have matched over 800 students with political campaigns across the country. But, we need your help to take a deeper dive.
This spring and summer the GAP Project will place 10 politically interested, low-income, BIPOC young women from the Urban Assembly Institute of Math and Science for Young Women in Brooklyn, NY on campaigns where they will work for New York City Council candidates and see representation in action. The students will intern on campaigns while also participating in weekly lectures, workshops and civics courses with notable leaders and political figures.
Each student will receive a stipend for their work in this internship. We are fundraising to be able to provide these students with this stipend.
Please take a look at our website getactingpeople.com to see more about our work.
We are grateful for all the help we can get and for the opportunity to provide these students with an enriching and transformative experience. Thank you!
