You may know me as Rachael or financewrachael on TikTok.
To further our accessibility to financial information, I recently founded Build Up and people’s overflowing interest in it has been such a rewarding thing to see. However, as a highschool junior, managing the fees on my own hasn’t been the easiest and any support would be sincerely appreciated.
Build Up is a student-led organization with the mission of empowering our youth with financial knowledge, one chapter at a time. Led by a team of 11 students, Build Up revolves around our educational bi-weekly newsletter.
Our impact within 2 months of launching:
- 5000+ members
- reached 100 countries
- international cabinet of 11 members
How funds will be used
- Mass Emailing Subscription: $35 a mo.
- Website Fees: $35 a mo.
- Our joint-hosted 2023 Summer Youth Finance Summit; competition prizes, Zoom pro, guest speakers, etc.
- Future Expansions: competition prizes, scholarships, upgraded mass emailing subscription, printing newsletter chapters into magazines in order to donate them to several institutions
Our finance and outreach team, along with myself, are diligently applying for grants and reaching out to potential sponsors. We also plan to onboard student ambassadors and further our team members, meaning we are fully confident in Build Up’s future expansion and growth.
But until we reach that stage, we ask for any amount of support. (not to the point it hurts your own pockets though, stay financially responsible)
