Fund Bozeman's Fight Against Single-Use Plastics

This summer, Bozeman volunteers collected over 10,000 signatures and successfully placed an initiative on the November 2024 ballot to limit single use plastics. Amazing!

Please help these indefatigable citizens make sure the initiative passes by making a gift to help them cover advertising, printing costs, and other campaign expenses.

The Bozeman Ballot initiative will prevent businesses from distributing single-use plastic bags and styrofoam containers, and will limit disposable straws and stirrers.

These laws are amazingly effective at reducing plastic pollution and saving money for businesses. According to 2023 polling by Oceana, 79% of US voters support them — which is clear now that 14 states and over 500 municipalities have already passed them.

This will be Montana’s first plastic pollution law, and will protect a hard-fought court case overturning HB407, Montana’s “ban on bans.”
