My name is Nick Wilson, I am the founder of the Northeast Rail Feed Association, and I am raising funds to build a network of railroad radio feeds covering the Boston & Albany (CSX’s Berkshire & Boston Subdivisions).
These radio feeds will allow railfans to listen in on the action from their computer or mobile device wherever they are located, without needing a scanner.
Complete coverage of the line from Worcester, MA to Selkirk, NY is planned, ensuring that all movements along the line will
be heard. No more sitting aimlessly trackside wondering where the next train is!
However, we cannot do this without your support. Radio feeds are expensive: they typically run between $600 & $1,000 each in hardware costs alone, but can sometimes cost even more depending on the specific needs of a site. Please consider donating what you can to help us provide these valuable tools to the railfan community!
