Hello! We are Justine and Caroline, writers and co-editors of the anthology Between Our Legs, forthcoming from University of Iowa Press in Fall 2026. This collection will feature stories on gynecological health from twenty inspiring authors, with an emphasis on breaking the shame, frustration, and taboos that often accompany the process of searching for answers and appropriate care. Stories will address topics ranging from chronic UTI's, to endometriosis, to abortion, to menopause, and more, catalyzing essential conversations around women's health.

We are raising funds to pay our contributors an honorarium that is commensurate with the time and vulnerability required to write and share their stories. We also hope to use these funds to host book launch events and publicize the anthology so that it will reach as many people as possible. Any funds raised over the fundraising goal will go directly to our amazing contributors, additional to their honorarium.
