Hello! My name is Avery, and I'm incredibly excited to share that I've been awarded a scholarship to study abroad in Scotland this summer! This opportunity is through CIEE, a nonprofit organization that offers various study abroad programs. The scholarship I received covers $2,620 for a creative writing program in Edinburgh, but I still need to raise $2,930 by April 15th to fully fund the tuition of the trip.

In addition to the cost of the trip I will need money for travel essentials, airfare, and any spending money needed for around the city for the three weeks I will be away. This brings the total needed to $4,880

Creative writing has always been a passion of mine, and it has been a very meaningful outlet throughout my life. Studying in Edinburgh, a city renowned for its rich literary history, would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to further my craft and immerse myself in the heart of a place that has inspired some of the greatest writers in the world.
