Help Me Study Abroad & Gain Clinical Experience in Greece!
Hi! My name is Ashley Fox, and I’m a proud graduate of Musselman High School! I currently attend Shepherd University, where I am majoring in biology with a double minor in psychology and chemistry. My ultimate goal is to attend medical school and become a child and adolescent psychiatrist, a career path inspired by the care and support I received growing up, and a dream fueled by my passion to give that same support to others.
In May 2026, I’ve been given an incredible opportunity, to travel to Athens, Greece, for a clinical study abroad experience! I’ll be shadowing doctors and gaining hands-on exposure at one of the top international children’s hospitals. This once-in-a-lifetime program will help me grow both personally and professionally — giving me firsthand insight into global healthcare systems, expanding my understanding of patient care, and strengthening my resume as I prepare for a future in medicine.
While I’m incredibly excited, the financial challenge of traveling abroad is very real. I currently work three jobs — as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) providing ABA therapy for children with autism, at BJ’s Brewhouse, and at Apple Annie’s Bakery, a small local business, to help support my education and future goals. Any contribution, no matter the size, would mean the world to me and bring me one step closer to this life-changing experience.
