Fund Anita's Hope for Future Patients

Hi, I'm Ken. The photo is the love of my life, Anita Barricks. She was discovered to have a glioblastoma tumor in April 2023. Until now, Medicare and Medicaid took care of the medical bills, 100%. Sadly, that is no longer the case. Medicaid will be charging her $8800 annually. Additionally, she will be going to Duke University and potentially Mass General for experimental procedures. Medicaid and Medicare will not cover those expenses.

Anita has survived 15 months with this disease. Her Oncologist thinks she'd be an excellent experimental procedure candidate and is coordinating with Duke at this time. Duke and other research centers are not in our home state. Medicaid won't cover "their share" of the expenses... We need your help. $8800 a year at a minimum is beyond our means. Experimental treatments would have to be canceled. Anita is already beyond the 15 month, average life expectancy. Her time is short. We both agree, experimental procedures may or may not help her but certainly would help glioblastoma patients in the future. We hope you're able to contribute and help us with this goal. God bless.
