Fund Ana's Flight to a Once-in-a-Lifetime Opportunity

Hi! I am Ana Soporean, a Social Sciences and Business student at Minerva University, currently based in Taipei. I am passionate about gaining hands-on experience in the business world, and I am happy to share that I have been accepted to the 2024 Business Today International Conference!

This year, the conference will take place in New York from November 8-10. This selective event was advertised as an all-expenses-paid conference, open to international and domestic students – with an acceptance rate of just 2%. Unfortunately, I was recently notified that they can only sponsor a portion of my trip, covering $300 for a roundtrip fare within the United States. Being in Taipei, I need to secure enough funds to reach the United States. (Their budget is insufficient for my flight ticket from Taiwan, but they will cover a domestic roundtrip, accommodation, food, and conference costs if I can secure enough funds for my flight from Taipei.)

It is disheartening to have been accepted to an educational conference with an acceptance rate of just 2%, yet not have the financial means to cover my travel costs.

Attending the summit would be an extraordinary opportunity to grow academically and professionally. To reiterate, I am deeply passionate about anything involving the business world, especially in an international setting. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity would provide me with invaluable insights and contribute immensely to my understanding of this field.

Additionally, I would be honored to be the first person to represent Minerva University at such an esteemed and highly selective conference featuring top students and key business leaders in New York, the world's business center. My presence would not only benefit me professionally but also significantly expand my university’s footprint on a global level.

Every donation, regardless of size, will bring me closer to this incredible opportunity. Since the conference is happening in 3 weeks, I must raise the necessary funds as soon as possible.

All donations will go directly towards purchasing the cheapest flight from Taipei to the U.S.
