Hello, I am the proud mother of Amaia, a high school senior. My fourth child and baby girl. The captain of her high school dance team. Amaia was accepted to Texas State. Amaia was also selected to dance on the Texas State Strutters dance team, a dream of hers since childhood. I am a single parent. I am totally disabled. Due to some traumatic events I now suffer from brain damage and other disabilities and cannot work. So please bare with me if this is hard to read. The brain damage is on my left frontal lobe. It causes seizures and other issues, including speech and other cognitive issues. Enough about me. Amaia is absolutely amazing. During her life, she continued to strive using dance as her outlet. She did not allow our home life to be an excuse to neglect her grades, and she continued to excel in her grades and dance. She made varsity her sophomore year, won finalist in her solo as a junior and senior years, and is finishing her senior year as captain. Amaia has had an A, B average. I know it has been difficult for Amaia to watch, not knowing if I'd survive; however, despite her busy schedule, she has been nothing but supportive and loving. I am in desperate need of help at this time to make her dreams come true, and I am asking my village for help. Amaia would like to attend Texas State in the fall, and I just can't afford that on disability. If you could please help me make my baby girl's dreams come true, I'd be so truly thankful. Amaia plans on studying business and dance and would like to open a dance school of her own. Any money received would go towards her dance fees, school fees, and tuition. Thank you for your time.
