Help Support My Daughter’s Band Trip to Dayton, Ohio

Dear Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Telegram, Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn, Family, Friends, Followers, Subscribers, and Supporters:

I’m reaching out with a proud parent’s heart. My daughter, Alicia, has been selected and given an incredible opportunity to compete and represent her high school band in a prestigious National Band Competition.

Event: 2026 National Indoor Percussion High School Competition
Date: Tuesday, April 14, 2026 - Sunday, April 19, 2026
Days Gone: 6 Days + 5 Nights
Destination: Dayton, Ohio

School: Klein Collins High School
City/State: Spring, Texas
Class/Grade: Sophomore/10th Grade
Instruments: Marimba, Xylophone, Mallets, Bells, and Drum Set

Amount Needed: $5,818.00
Please Donate @ GoFundMe

Alicia is an Honor Student, with a 4.275 GPA, ranking in the Top 25% of her Class, and has been singing and playing percussion since 5 years old. As an 8th Grader, she won the 2024 State Championship with her Middle School Indoor Percussion Team in the Texas Color Guard Circuit, and as a 10th Grader, she was selected to the Texas All-Regional Choir as an Alto.

This opportunity will afford her the experience to compete on a National level, allow her to grow as a musician, represent her school, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Her ultimate goal is to obtain a scholarship and join the Southern University Human Jukebox and Jazz Band, after graduation Class of 2028.

We are working to raise $5,818. 00 to help cover her travel, lodging, meals, and trip-related expenses.

Amount Needed: $5,818.00
Please Donate @ GoFundMe

Any amount — big or small — truly makes a difference and is deeply appreciated. If you’re able to support, donations can be made through:
