Fund Alba's Farewell: A Sister's Tribute

Hello everyone and thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Jose Rivera. With heavy hearts, my siblings and I decided to start this GoFundMe because as of July 19th, 2025, our eldest sister, Alba Rocio Inguanzo, is no longer with us. Back in early 2024, she had contracted COVID, which then led to her getting purpura and other skin diseases due to COVID lowering her immune response. At that time, we had almost lost her, but she managed to pull through, though not without losing a few fingers, toes, and the function of her kidneys. Despite this, she continued to fight and was a ray of light and a foundation for our family. She stayed in an acute care facility while recovering.

Things looked like they were going well for some time, and we were even looking into bringing her home from the facility she was at, but a month ago, she took a turn for the worse. She was sent to the hospital and was in the ICU due to multiple infections. Once the infections were gone and her vitals stable, she was moved to another care facility. It was at this facility that she took her last breath, and her light faded. We are wanting to host a viewing but don't have the funds, so we are trying to raise them here, for we have a week from July 21st, 2025, to raise the funds. So please help a grieving family give a proper funeral to the person who held them together for so long. Thank you.
