I would like to say firstly, thanks for being here and your support!

My younger brother, Adrian, or as I call him Bruce, is in the fight of his life. As I sit writing this, never in a million years I thought we would be going through this…

In September 2023, my brother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer, and he successfully got through that with surgery and some lifestyle changes. However, the positive news was short lived. May 2024, Adrian was diagnosed with a Medulloblastoma, which is an malignant tumor found in the cerebellum. To date, Adrian has undergone 10 rounds of targeted radiation to shrink the inflammation around the tumor. Those treatments were ineffective, and his health has continued to decline steadily. From a person who was into cars and full of life, this tumor has rendered him immobile, bedridden, and sadly to say, he has lost most of his cognitive function. If you know Adrian, you know he is not the one to give up, and in turn, his courage, and fight to live is what keeps us going.

At present, Adrian is under the care of a palliative doctor who visit his home to administer IV fluids, medication and assess the many ailments that arise form being bedridden for so long. Sadly to say, these medical visits, equipment, medications, and supplies come at a great cost and expense that no one is truly prepared for. So, after weeks of juggling all by ourselves with support from some of our family members and friends, we’ve decided to reach out to our broader community for support.

It doesn’t come easy to share this publicly, but no fight is won in isolation.

I am hoping that some support can be generated to build a support fund to cover for his medical expenses and a Home Health Aide to facilitate with his day-to-day activities.

Any contributions will help alleviate some of the stress and burden on us but especially Adrian who is just trying to fight this with all he has but also live life wholeheartedly. It is with heartfelt gratitude that we say thank you for reading through and for any contributions made. One more thing I ask for is to have him in your prayers. His family still believes that your voices and prayer will be heard by the most highest.
