Do you love making or watching YouTube Poops? Are you tired of copyright takedowns? My name's Willow. I'm planning on setting up a site just for YouTube Poops that would run on PeerTube.

The idea is to be a copyright safe haven for YouTube Poops and archives of them. When we receive a takedown notice, we would help the video author submit a counterclaim that it's fair use. Additionally, since PeerTube integrates with the rest of the fediverse (including Mastodon), people won't need an account on the site in order to follow YTP creators or archivists or comment on their videos.

With your help, we can afford one year of hosting and to pay volunteer moderators. The domain (joj.foundation) is already paid for the first year. If this GoFundMe is successful, we will use the funds to pay for its hosting costs for a year and to pay a few volunteer moderators. After the first year, if the project is successful, we will use Patreon to continue to pay for its hosting and moderation costs, and Patreon members will get extra perks.
