My best friend has been diagnosed with Stage 3A breast cancer. She has undergone two surgeries (mastectomy and node removal). Currently up to round 4 of chemotherapy and has taken control by shaving her head - the hair loss was painful and distressing.
Her medical insurance is not kicking in - been told it will take 3-6 months to process all the claims, if she is eligible.
Supporting her goal for a wig will provide her confidence and normalcy in every day life which has proven that nothing is normal...
