Shae’s Jeune Syndrome Journey

Donation protected

Hi everyone
I’m hoping to raise enough cash for a little boy Shae.
What this little boy and his family has gone through is madness, he was born with a kidney failure and his body was rejecting his kidney he’s put up with alsorts from the word go, in and out of hospital daily having to have a drip attached to him and drugs being pumped in to him.
What his hero of a dad has done for him is very inspiring, not only giving up work to care for him, taking him to Liverpool every day to the hospital back and forth from home and being there for him when times have been hard he’s only gone and give him one of his kidneys which Shae has had transplanted to his body, what a hero a super dad, when he found out he was the right donar for Shae he didn’t hesitate once he was going to give Shae his kidney.

just a little insight of what he has been through
A central line insertion means having a soft plastic tube placed through the skin into one of the large veins in the neck or the groin at the top of the thigh. Once the dialysis line has been inserted and made secure it can be used for haemodialysis to allow blood to be pumped from your body to the machine and back for dialysis.

Dialysis treatment removes the poisons and fluid that the kidneys cannot get rid of.

Dialysis line insertion has a small risk of complications. The main risk is that the needle or guide wire or dialysis line can damage the vein or other parts of the body nearby such as an artery or the lung.
The most serious risks from the dialysis line insertion are bleeding from an artery and puncture of a lung.
There is a risk that infection can spread from the catheter into the bloodstream causing a blood infection (septicaemia). This is very unlikely to happen at the time of the dialysis line insertion and can be prevented by keeping the area around the line as clean as possible.

you can look more in to his story and what he’s been through on face book Shae’s Jeune Syndrome Journey there’s a page that his mother has set up for his journey so far. Shaes mum and dad have raised money for fundraisers and give it to the hospital that Shae was in to help in getting new equipment.

I want Shae and his family to have a nice holiday together after there ordeal what theyve all been through. As he’s not been able to do anything with being ill and having to be in and out of hospital since birth. Looking to raise £5000 which will cover a holiday to magaluf katmando resort for 2 adults and 3 children what an amazing place it is for kids. Shae would love it.
