I’m Hayley and I’m raising money to help me find a safe haven until my house sells.i have a very complex health condition called MCAS, and due to a number of environmental factors in my current home, I’ve been advised to sell my home and move elsewhere. With the current housing market, there has been no movement on my house despite significant price reductions. To help protect my fragile health, I am seeking funds to help me spend time away in a suitable location where I can rest and heal and have some respite from endless reactions and struggles which are particularly bad in the winter (I am surrounded by wood smoke in my village and this sends me into MCAS reactions of panic and breathing issues. I can take no medication to relieve this due to the condition also giving me significant allergies to all medication).
The target amount would enable me to pay 6 months rent or a number of separate stays in suitable accommodation as well as funding some consultations with MCAS specialists (£3,500 would pay for me to consult with one of the best MCAS clinics in the US) as well as some simple treatments and assistance to help me feel better, like massage, bioresonance, nervous system support and CBT.
Due to complex sensitivities, I’m unable to stay with family and friends (who would love to help me!) or share a house with others. There also has to be very specific environmental criteria for that home to be currently safe for me.
After 3 years of significant health issues, I have no savings left and significant debts. I have spent thousands seeking answers for my condition from private doctors, nutritionists and others, while also funding care support and keeping my home running as my health has further declined. As a previously successful financial adviser this has been a really hard position to find myself in. It has humbled me beyond measure. I ask now for my community to support me, so I can find a way to heal this condition and go on to help others through their own dark times in the way I know I’m here to do. the first step of this is to find a sanctuary that will allow my body to calm. I am so grateful for any and all help.
