Fund a Nursing Student's Final Clinical Abroad

Hi!

As you may know, I have been attending nursing school for the past two years now and am planning on graduating in May of 2025 with my BSN. Recently, a wonderful opportunity was presented to me during my last semester of nursing school. Every semester, I spend about 90+ hours shadowing a nurse and putting in “clinical time.” However, my school is offering a study abroad trip to replace my last clinical, in which we will be going to Costa Rica instead. I and others like myself will be providing care and services to the adults and children there, especially as a Spanish-speaking future healthcare worker.

Unfortunately, the trip is not free. There are resources out there that could help with funding, but they are not enough to cover the entire cost. So, I’m asking for donations and/or sponsorships. This will be one of the last closing memories I’ll have of school before I become an RN and hopefully start my residency program in the fall, fingers crossed, at an ICU in a children’s hospital.

Any amount will help! And if for some reason, we reach my goal and there are funds still available, they will go towards graduation. I kindly appreciate your time, thank you.
