Fund a New PC to Start Arcanist development and bt mods

Hi! I’m the developer for Arcanist's Path an immersive open-world VR magic game. You’ll learn spells as you play—by discovering old writings in caves, being taught by masters, or completing ever-changing dungeons through out the world to earn powerful scrolls.

Spells are cast using gestures, whether it’s a quick flick of the wrist or a complex, multi-step motion. You can modify how your spells work by drawing modifiers in the air, and even stack them together to create chained effects and transformations. Speech magic lets you buff yourself or your teammates using your voice.

The world is full of magic artifacts to find—unique weapons, armor, wearable trinkets, and one-time-use magical items. You can brew potions, cook food, explore the land, and take down major threats to help restore a fractured world.

Or you can just repeatedly throw a slime at a wall.

Whatever you choose, it’ll have an impact on the world—and the way your story ends.

I also create large-scale mods for Battle Talent, but recently I’ve hit a wall — literally. My laptop broke, and Lenovo keeps denying warranty repairs. Without a working PC, I can't make meaningful progress on Arcanist or any of my mods.

What the funds will do:

Primary goal ($1,500): A development PC (i7, RTX 3070, 16GB RAM) so I can work again

Stretch goal ($3,000): Full-body tracking support added in First alpha of Arcanist

Any extra funds: Go directly into Arcanist’s development — more features, polish, and performance

Early Support = Future Rewards

When we launch our Patreon (after beta), all donors will be matched to reward tiers based on their donation amount.

Here’s a peek at what’s planned:

$3+: Supporter Discord role

$6+: Unlock image perms on discord + skip to level 15

$10+: Access to early development previews & testing info

$15+: submit a tester application to a separate form, most people here are guarantied to get tester. The application is so we can check out info and to avoid bad actors. + have a verified message left somewhere in the map at your choice

$20+: Your name engraved in a village as a founder + in-game trinket tied to world of echoes quest

Higher tiers: $35 Help make an artifact, $50 Help design a spell including its power progression, $100 Create an NPC and the NPC's story (verified by staff), $250 have your own statue honoring you in important areas, $500 have a big statue in the center of a town + a main questline with multiple artifacts and spells linked to it.

Names will be put on a board at spawn until we have a town, The NPC will be a selectable character until we have a town.
