Oriel Films - Help fund a locally made feature film

PLEASE HELP fund a locally made Independent feature film. AS THE DEADLINE APPROACHES WE FIND OURSELVES STRUGGLING TO PAY FOR VITAL LIGHTING AND CAMERA EQUIPMENT. IF WE CAN RAISE ANOTHER €6,000 WE WILL BE ABLE TO COVER THE COSTS. Please consider donating. We begin filming on July 1st and the costs will be on going.

ABOUT OUR FILM…

Under the name ORIEL FILMS we are making a film based in Dundalk. We are a COMMUNITY made film, we are collaborating with local artists, actors, film makers and musicians to make this film a reality. We are also enabling young people from Mad Youth Theater and students from DKIT the chance to have first hand film experience. The cast and crew who have already signed up to be part of this project are giving freely of their time with negligible monetary gain. We need to raise enough to cover, film equipment, transport, catering, accommodation and expenses.

In global filmmaking terms what we seek is very little and we hope the people of the region and beyond will give generously to support us and appreciate the time and effort that is going into such a venture.

By attracting local people, businesses and entrepreneurs to support our community driven film we make this independent film a reality.

We believe that this film will highlight the local talent and stunning North East locations it is important to us to encourage outside investment and interest in our area.

Our feature film is an opportunity for local people, businesses and entrepreneurs to give something back to home-grown talent, thus encouraging creative development in the local area. We look upon County Louth and the surrounding region as an alternative to Wicklow or Galway and aim to propel the interest in filmmaking in the local area.

We already have the endorsement of DKIT, An Taín, Creative Spark and Mad Youth Theatre and Louth County Council. We urge the local community to please get behind us.
