Hi friends and family!
I am now rounding out my third year as a horn performance major and I’m so excited to share that I’ve been accepted into a three-week study abroad program in Taiwan from May 11 to June 3! This opportunity will allow me to deepen my musical studies while immersing myself in a vastly different culture, music, and daily life; which is something I’ve been dreaming of for a long time. Chamber music is related to small group performance, like a woodwind quintet. In this context, the program is geared towards introducing ECU School of Music students to musical styles and cultures in Asia.
I’ve been working hard to make this experience possible and am incredibly grateful to have already received $375 in scholarship support. That said, I still need help covering the remaining costs of the program, travel, and living expenses while abroad: about $2,500.
If you feel led to support me, whether by prayer, donating or simply sharing this page, I would be deeply grateful. Every little bit truly helps bring me closer to this life-changing opportunity. I’m committed to making the most of this experience and bringing what I learn back to my studies and community.
