UPDATE: We did it! Between donations on here and in person, I have enough to go to Nashville! I'm still leaving this open in case anyone wants to contribute to the food while I'm out of town fund, but I'm so humbled and grateful for all the amazing people in my life!

I was originally planning on not attending because of financial constraints, but I've had a lot of wonderful people encourage me to create a fundraiser that might allow me to go. So, that's why I'm here.

I wish I could afford to travel to Nashville on my own, but it would be financially irresponsible to do so. As such, I really hope that people can donate whatever they can to allow me to attend this festival!

For those who don't know my story

My family has faced a lot of financial struggles over the last ten years (hurricane, housing displacement, emergency surgeries, and other medical costs). Just as I thought we were finally getting our heads above water, after fourteen years of service, I was laid off from a company I loved working for. It was heartbreaking, and I'm still trying to accept the loss. I have a new job starting soon, but it's only part-time, which is why I don't feel comfortable going on this adventure without support.
