Fund a Bright Mind & Family's Pursuit of a BYU PhD

Please meet the Odiambo family -- Phillip, his dear wife and their three beautiful daughters (12, 5, and 2).

They will fly from Uganda to Salt Lake City this summer and move into an apartment in Provo, UT where Phillip was awarded a 5-yr scholarship to pursue a Biochemistry PhD at Brigham Young University.

Phillip and his family are servant leaders! He has extensive leadership as President of three parishes of The Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-day Saints and was instrumental in establishing BYU Pathway in Uganda. Professionally he has 10 years of hospital data analytics experience.

Private donors have already funded the cost of their 5 hour travel from Gulu to Entebbe where they will board a flight to SLC, airfare, and initial rental deposit. An apartment search and effort to collect sundry household items are underway.

Team Odiambo is also raising $3,500 to fund their initial general living expenses to launch a wonderful chapter in Provo!

Our first donation comes from a 9 yr-old team member -- $1. Her sister donated the 2nd $1. 2,000 of those gets us to our goal!
