Fund a Baroque Lute!

Hello! My name is Cameron Welke, and I am a graduate student at the Peabody Conservatory studying the theorbo and baroque lute. I am raising money to purchase my own 13-course baroque lute, similar to the one featured in this photo and video, so that I can begin to share the beautiful repertoire written for the instrument with people all over the world through live shows and videos. 

I currently have my eye on a lute for sale in Scotland that is going for approximately $4500, a stunning instrument made by Jiri Cepelak. I am hoping to crowdfund $2500 of the cost and will cover the remaining $2000 myself. 

As a musician, my entire career is about sharing; sharing my music, sharing conversations with my listeners, sharing my musical energy with ensembles and other collaborators.
