Support Gio’s First Drum Corps Experience

My name is Giovanni Guzman, and I’m currently a Junior at PSJA North High School with plans of pursuing a degree in Music Education.
     I’ve recently been given a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go on tour with the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps a dream I’ve had ever since I joined band. This summer, with your support, I have the chance to make that dream a reality. Not only would this experience provide invaluable life lessons, but it would also offer musical growth that I simply can’t find anywhere else growth I will eventually apply in my future career as a music educator. I’ve already experienced a glimpse of this growth during my two years with Vaquero Winds, a WGI indoor winds group. Those seasons helped me grow not just as a musician, but also as a person. I can’t imagine what a full season with the Madison Scouts would have in store for me, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me.
