Fund 2025 Violin Summer Institute Studies for Vivianna

We are enthusiastically fundraising for Vivianna Mahammed - currently in her 11th year of violin studies - to attend two prestigious violin institutes this summer (Orford Musique [1 week], and Le Domaine Forget de Charlevoix [2 weeks], both in Quebec, CA).

Vivianna currently plays with three orchestras - the MSSO (First Violin), the OSF (Concert Master/First Violin), and will begin next year with the Orchestre symphonique des jeunes de Montréal. She also attends Ecole FACE, where she specializes in Strings (and plays in the strings chamber orchestra). She will accompany the MSSO on their musical tour in Spain and Portugal in June. She is a long-time student of Dragan Djerkic.

Vivianna has been the recipient of bursaries, scholarships, and has won awards and competitions (both as an individual, and with the MSSO). She has received a small scholarship for one of the Institutes, but we want to ensure that her musical growth and artistic trajectory can continue to move forward in a way that supports her focused and committed work as a musician, by raising the rest of the funding to cover the tuition/accommodation/food/travel expenses to attend both Institutes.
