For years, I’ve dreamed of creating a place where people could reconnect with what truly makes them feel alive: health, balance, and peace.
I’ve always been passionate about wellness, but for a long time I traveled too much to put down roots. Looking back, I think I was waiting for the right place. And now, I’ve found it…
Bohol, in the Philippines, is a peaceful island surrounded by nature, community, and calm.
Everywhere I look today, people are struggling with their health (chronic pain, fatigue, stress, and imbalance), yet so many of these issues can be improved, even reversed, through functional health principles:
- movement
- nourishment
- mindfulness,
- a return to simplicity
What most people need isn’t another quick fix.
They need the education, encouragement, and space to help themselves heal.
That’s the mission behind this project.
The vision is to build a self-sustaining Health and Wellness Center that blends modern comfort with natural living.
Guests will stay in simple but comfortable chalets… think native bamboo aesthetics, modern amenities, and total peace.
Mornings begin with the sound of birds, fresh air, and a nourishing breakfast made from organic produce grown on-site.
Throughout the day, guests can use all the facilities at their own pace — from movement areas to meditation spaces — or receive personalized coaching and guidance.
It will be a calm, grounded place where people can rest, recover, and learn how to maintain a healthier life long after they leave.
This dream is still in the planning phase. I’m currently completing my health coaching certification so I can personally provide many of the wellness services offered at the retreat.
The first step toward making this real is securing the land: the foundation for everything that follows.
Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward purchasing the right property. One close to nature, within reach of modern conveniences, and aligned with our goal of sustainability and serenity.
Although this began as a personal dream, I see it growing into something that benefits the wider community.
Once we’re producing our own food, all excess harvests will be donated.
Locals will be offered discounted or free educational programs to help them live healthier lives.
And as the retreat grows, it will create jobs and opportunities - even pathways for training future health practitioners who can continue spreading the message of wellness and self-care.
This project represents more than just a retreat: it’s a movement toward healthier living, self-sufficiency, and community.
If you’ve ever felt that quiet pull to slow down, to reconnect, or to help others do the same, I invite you to be part of this journey.
Together, we can build something beautiful.
A place where healing begins, hope grows, and health becomes a way of life.
