I’m reaching out to you today with a heavy heart to share Rex’s story.

If you've ever met him, you know how much love Rex has to give. He’s the happiest, goofiest, most gentle boy, greeting everyone like they’re his best friend and still chasing his tail to cheer people up.

Recently, my world was turned upside down when Rex was diagnosed with lung cancer. This diagnosis has been heartbreaking, but I’m holding onto hope. Depending on the type of cancer and how aggressive it is, Rex could have several months to over a year of life left. In addition to medication, Rex’s vet has recommended an oncology consult and CT scan to determine the best course of action.

I’ve been covering the costs on my own so far, but the ongoing treatments and medications are more than I can manage alone. Our current vet bill estimates the total cost at around $6,000. No one wants to choose between their finances and the life of a family member. While I wish I could cover this all on my own, I humbly ask for your support to help give Rex the chance he deserves.

Rex is more than my companion—he’s my emotional support animal. He has been by my side through so much and gives me so much love, joy, and comfort every day. He has been my loyal sidekick for the last 7 years, and I want to do everything possible to give him the most comfortable, happy life possible.
